Award Winning hairstylist.

Lavette as of 2019 is a network
on-air beauty contributor. She
also currently works behind the
scenes styling hair for various
morning shows ,Tv Series and
films as she works on her very
first hair styling tool The Crystal
Styler by Lavette Slater. The
official Launch in 2019.

She was lead hairstylist for ABC?s
Daytime?s highly successful live
talk and Emmy Award Winning
entertainment program The
View for 12 years. She was
personal hairstylist to all of the
many co-hosts on and off of The
View as well as having the
chance to style the many
celebrities, public figures and
political figures on the show such
as Hillary Clinton, Former Second
First Lady Jill Biden and our very
own Former First Lady Michelle
Obama.

Lavette has been credited for co-
producing many on-air highly

rated beauty segments such as

Wigs and Weaves , Xmas
Makeovers & Ask The View
Crew Hair which has earned her
3 Emmys in Outstanding
Achievement in Hairstyling 2007,
2008 and 2009 along with 10
nominations for her work on The

certifications in all things hair and
a licensed certified makeup artist.
